    • The Blue Light­ing Pit­fall: Because the col­or blue sits clos­est to the wave­length of a dark night sky, sol­id blue let­ters tend to have remark­ably poor leg­i­bil­i­ty at night. But if you pair face-lit blue let­ters with a clean, white LED back­lit halo, you can sep­a­rate the sign from the build­ing façade and make that blue pop.
